Ocean County Science Club started in February 2008. Since we started late in the semester we formed goals that we would like to achieve before the end of May. Our Goals 1 To have members become familiar with the science club system 2 Develop a system that will work in all future science clubs 3 Ease the transition for high school students into the OCC Science Club (Science Convention) Our Last Meeting. Explain what officers doTreasurer- Handles budget with student life and reviews purchases at meetings Secretary- Takes minutes at meetings and reviews upcoming dates Vice President- Keeps records of Science Symposium and summarizes events with president President- Organizes and finalizes all events (i.e. Science Symposium, Binder, Contacts, Meetings) 3. Review available budget and each category, explain purchasing process 4. Explain goals of this club for Spring 2008 5. Went over all ideas |
